About the Course
Become a Conservation Ecologist! This experiment packed program is sure to energize your students as they learn Ecological principles and energy transfer through the system. Students will acquire an understanding of the fundamental components necessary for all living organisms to survive: water, air, food, and sun (or energy). Students will engage in a hands-on experiment to learn about the process of photosynthesis, followed by constructing a food web to demonstrate how energy and nutrients may move through the ecosystem. They will also be introduced to the concept of composting by meeting our wiggly worms. We will wrap up with a seed planting activity.
