Youth Environmental Alliance Inc. does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, age, or sex in administration of its programs or activities, and, [Recipient Name] does not intimidate or retaliate against any individual or group because they have exercised their rights to participate in actions protected, or oppose action prohibited, by 40 C.F.R. Parts 5 and 7, or for the purpose of interfering with such rights. Grievance Procedures Policy:
Youth Environmental Alliance Inc. (YEA) Does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability and strives to be as inclusive as possible. If you are an employee, volunteer, client or participant of one of our programs, and you have a grievance, please contact the grievance coordinator, Kristen Hoss at 954-382-0188 or write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org within a week of the perceived violation. If there is a grievance against YEA or one of it’s employees, the grievance is written up and presented to the Board of directors for investigation and discussion. If it is determined that the grievance is founded, the following corrective action will be documented and the employee in question will sign the corrective action plan which is as follows: the employee in question will be re-trained and put on a 30-day probation. Throughout the probation period, the employee will be monitored for adherence to the policy and to ensure corrective actions have taken effect. At the end of the probation period, the employee will continue to be monitored for a total of 90-days to ensure compliance and an environment of inclusion. If the employee does not adhere to the YEA Anti-Discrimination Policy within the aforementioned timelines, the result will be termination.
