Curriculum
This hands-on program takes students on a journey through the fascinating world of soil. Participants investigate the building blocks of soil, from rocks and minerals to organic matter and living decomposers. Through engaging activities such as soil classification, percolation experiments, and close-up observations, discover how different soils affect water movement, plant growth, and entire ecosystems. Students will understand how soil connects the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the biodiversity we depend on—reminding us that when it comes to the earth beneath our feet, “We’re All Connected, So We Are All Affected”.
